This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom has a wide range of students. They come from different backgrounds, speak different languages, and love different foods. We have students with learning disabilities, special needs, and communication disorders.
My students are special because despite their differences they love to learn and deserve lasting materials that can withstand curious little hands.
We need to laminate materials that they can reuse such as playdough mats, pattern sheets, number practice, prewriting skills, writing, and literacy practice. We can even use materials for social-emotional learning, mental health, visual schedules, expressing our emotions, and communicating with peers and teachers.
These laminating pouches will make a difference in their learning because they withstand lots of use so that they can learn and practice new skills.
