Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have been given the opportunity to teach the best group of little people imaginable. They are kind, generous, intelligent, and hardworking. They arrive each day ready to show the world the greatness within. They shine.

I teach phenomenal Black and Brown students.

These little people are absolutely amazing. They face many challenges and hardships that would defeat the average person. They have been historically marginalized in our society. Through covert and overt action and inaction society has told them that that their lives don't matter. This is completely, unacceptable. They deserve an anti-racist classroom and world.

As their teacher, I am committed to providing them the anti-racist classroom they deserve and taking action so that they can experience an anti-racist world. All of the materials I request will be ways to celebrate, uplift, and honor my students and their history. I am honored to be their teacher.

My Project

My students are tentatively scheduled to return back to in person learning in January. They have not been in person all year and will be needing basic supplies to learn.

Many families are struggling during the pandemic and as such, I would like to be able to provide my students with the supplies they need to learn.

I already sent all of the notebooks and pencils I had home with them when they picked up school supplies and unfortunately, I do not have any left.

It would be a huge blessing to have help to be able to provide my students with the primary composition notebooks and pencils that they need. I am also asking for a pencil sharpener for my classroom so that I can sharpen their pencils quickly and easily. Thank you for considering us!
