Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a classroom of 21 students with different needs, and their classroom has to be able to fit into their specific needs. My students need individual chair pockets to store their supplies and classroom books. The chair pockets will help support organizational skills for my students. The chair pockets allow for students to keep their supplies separate from their classmates while staying clean and tidy. The chair pockets will give my students their own personal space to store their supplies, materials, and books. These materials will also encourage smoother transitions when the students are switching materials and subjects.
The chair pockets will be a great addition to the classroom for my current and future students.
By giving them this space, I am creating independent, responsible individuals. They would be responsible for keeping track of their items. Things tend to get lost often, and these chair pockets will help tremendously!
