Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For many years, I taught AP Biology successfully. Many students passed the exam and received college credit. Many students later began careers in biology. Former students are dentists, vets, physicians, and nurses. After a ten-year hiatus, I am returning to teach the next generation of biology students. I need your help to provide meaningful laboratory experiences to give the students the best chance for academic and vocational success. The DonorsChoose list includes items that are used in the new emphasis on biotechnology, including a microcentrifuge and a vortex mixture. This will add to the equipments that I have previously procured, resulting in an updated laboratory for the next generation of successful biology students.
