My Project
My Pre-K students are obsessed with our science viewfinders. YES, the same retro type viewfinders all of us 70’s and 80’s kids had!
They love to look at the viewfinder pictures and share them with their friends, they are building their vocabulary when they are describing what they see.
I am asking you to donate fairytale, nursery rhyme, simple song and solar system viewfinders. This will expand our collection so that more students can share the viewfinders and they are exposed to different types materials. These are helpful for our English Language Learners in building their vocabulary as they discuss what they are looking at with their classmates.
I am also asking for early childhood binoculars so that my students can also get a closer look for some real things around our classroom and school.
