My Project

I have been working with English Language Learners for over 27 years now. During this time, I have seen how engaging materials can work wonders with Multilingual Learners. In my classroom, I strive to provide students with opportunities to acquire language through fun and engaging activities. Storytelling materials can assist in lowering the affective filter and help my students feel comfortable speaking a language that is foreign to them.

Kinesthetic learning combines elements of both visual and auditory learning, compelling full participation from each student.

The puppets, building set, and other materials requested will help my scholars with vocabulary as they work on retelling the events of classic stories. “Hands-on” learning allows students to become comfortable using expressive language spontaneously in class. While working with these materials, students can request certain objects, make choices, ask questions, answer, and describe events. Thank you for taking the time to review our project.
