My Project

ARTS ARTS ARTS! Our school is bringing back the arts into their daily programming for students. I am at the forefront of constructing a responsive, restorative and socially conscious art curriculum for my future students. I am beyond excited to be able to give my students a space to thrive in the arts.

The arts, though traditionally overlooked, have the potential to shine with the proper supplies.

I am asking for help to supply printing plates, crayons, and other supplies for a nearly empty room. Please help give my students the tools to create change visually in their community. The arts have the ability to challenge young creative minds to envision a new world.

A majority of my students have not received an arts education until this coming school year. This year I am aiming to focus on social emotional learning through the arts, emphasizing the importance of community in our classroom. We will focus on being love for each other. Through this new emerging arts program, I want to empower my students to use their voices in a creative and imaginative way that expresses their experiences.

In order to make the reintroduction of the arts to the community successful WE NEED to be properly supplied. It would be such a disservice to bring the arts programming back into the students' lives and not have the tools to cultivate the experience they deserve to share their stories with their community.
