My Project
I have started offering restorative yoga classes in our Diversity Cafe. These are 10-to-20-minute sessions that focus on breathing, basic yoga moves and rest.
I am requesting yoga blankets that students can roll up and place under their heads or knees during our restorative yoga sessions.
I started the yoga classes at the request of students. The classes have become a highlight of the week, and we are hoping to offer more classes in the future. Right now, we hold two sessions a week.
Short yoga sessions give students the opportunity to recharge throughout the day. We really appreciate your support.
