This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredibly creative, kind-hearted, and eager to learn. What makes them special is their ability to see possibility in everyday things—they turn cardboard into castles and beads into meaningful gifts. These supplies will give them the tools to keep creating, exploring, and expressing themselves in ways that traditional worksheets simply can’t.
My goal is to create a learning space that feels inspiring, inclusive, and ready for anything.
With your help, we can ensure every student has what they need to feel supported, valued, and empowered to learn in their own unique way.
Items like air dry clay, slime kits, paint pens, and felt help students with sensory needs stay calm and focused, while supplies like gluesticks, cardstock, and origami paper allow them to bring their ideas to life. The 3D printer filament, tripod, and paper-making frames will support project-based learning, while UNO and stress balls promote social-emotional growth.
