My new third grade students attend an inner city charter school. The school is small and feels like a family. We are going through many changes and working hard to meet our goals.
The third grade students are kind, willing to learn, and open to change.
They want to soak up knowledge and new experiences. By the time they walk into school, they have overcome the struggles of poverty, broken homes, and homelessness. Our charter school strives to meet all needs of our learners. We are a small school with big futures.
My Project
My class needs new colored pencils, markers and composition notebooks. We will use these for our literacy and math projects. Th notebooks will become our reading strategy journals.
Everyone loves new classroom supplies!
We have run out of both colored pencils and markers in our classroom. Third grade students are creative and can showcase their talents if given the opportunity and the tools to do so. By restocking our markers and colored pencils, everyone will have equal access to supplies to add color to our many projects in reading and math. We will be able to explain math problems and illustrate stories.
