Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project aims to restock our classroom reward shop with fun and engaging items for students. We use a ticket-based reward system that promotes positive behavior aligned with our three core expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.
These rewards help motivate and reinforce good behavior throughout the week.
Every Friday is "Ticket Day", and it’s something the students look forward to!
They get to use their earned tickets to "buy" items from the Student Shop. Along the way, they also develop real-world skills like saving, budgeting, and making thoughtful choices.
Students also receive a little extra on their birthday or half-birthday. They get two free items from the shop, and with this project, I’ve included birthday bracelets and pencils to make those celebrations even more special!
