My Project
Support my high school Ecology and Biology students at a large Title 1 school, many of whom are from low income households and/or are English Language Learners. Creating visual representations and models is a large part of our curriculum - and who wants to draw without adding color?!
In addition to markers and colored pencils, I am also requesting highlighters to support literacy tasks such as text annotation and guided reading.
Using colors for this in addition to teacher-led modeling will help support language acquisition skills for my multilingual learners!
