My Project
I am so proud of my students this year! I teach students who were behind in so many ways, but they didn't give up and now, many of them are seeing tremendous growth in their education. Students who are under-credited and over-aged, and may have a serious background of trauma, but needed a second chance at a school that affords them an alternative school environment. Many of them will be graduating this year and they have really been pushing to catch up and get the work done.
Food is a very big motivation for my students, and DonorsChoose has been very helpful in allowing me to provide snacks and water in order to keep them focused.
We are getting close to testing and graduation time, so I am looking to restock my snack cabinet in order to continue to support my students.
