it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As many of you know, I work with our unhoused students in the Skid Row area. Many of my students (ETK-5th grade) arrive to school tired and sleepy. I am asking for two small mats where they can sleep. As you all saw, I usually use sweaters, jackets, and whatever blanket I have around. I do not like the fact that my students are used to sleeping on the floor at the shelter and here at school. I hope you all find it in your kind heart to help my students with this nice gift. I appreciate any amount.
