My class is an amazing bunch of students! Our school is a Title 1 school that serves students who come from a diverse set of backgrounds, experiences, and a low-income school district. My students are faced with several daily challenges in and out of the classroom. The students in my classroom are full of energy and very enthusiastic about learning. Pre-K is such an exciting group with mixed interests, abilities and goals.
In this class, we build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.
My goal is to help students be successful, emotionally and academically.
My Project
My students need new mats for nap time. Each student needs a new mat. The mats that they are currently using are very worn and torn.
Nap time is an important time for small children...it gives them time to rest not only their bodies, but their minds as well.
It will help to create a fun filled day of exploring.
With these new mats, I believe that my students will have more comfortable and relaxing naps. Having these types of naps, the children will wake up refreshed and ready to learn. These mats will also make it more comfortable to rest their minds and bodies.
