My Project
My students are always on the go and ready for the next activity. The day is jam packed with ELA, personalized learning, math, music and movement, art, social skills, fine motor activities and so much more.
But…there is one part of the day when we rest, relax, read, reflect, and/or refocus.
During this quiet time someone may be practicing calming strategies, while another takes a snooze and someone else reads. Currently, the students takes turns resting on one of two beanbags and the rest mat we have. They would really enjoy having a few more rest options, including the pop-up tent and body socks.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
