My Project
Developmentally students need a nap in order to be more attentive and cooperative throughout the day. This a time for them to settle down, get that break they need before they are ready to play again.
Naps also foster brain development and supplement extra rest for students who may not get a good night's sleep.
The nap mats we currently have are worn. Mnay of them have rips that duct tape is holding together and the foam inside has gone flat. These new maps are much thicker and comfortable for sleeping on the floor in the classroom. Nap is essential for my students to reset so they are well rested, ready to focus, and be their best selves!
