Responsible Students in a Tranquil Space

My Project

While some of my students have a variety of pets at home, many do not. Having some type of pet is a wonderful way to teach students to be responsible and care for another living creature. We currently have plants, that they love to care for. When thinking of a class pet to help teach responsibility, I also wanted to add a pet to our classroom.

Aquariums can add to a tranquil environment, and spending time watching the fish helps students stay calm.

When students need a break, they can spend a few moments watching the fish, until they are ready to learn again.
