Resources to Help Students Learn

Help me give my students the resources they need to learn. Math intervention program, 'The Reading Strategies Book' and the 'Writing Strategies Book' will help the teachers support students to grow as mathematicians, readers and writers.

My Students

Attending a Title I school, my students face challenges inside and outside of the classroom. Our fifth grade class is looking to provide materials for this group of wonderful and diverse learners.

Our students have a wide variety of needs, these materials will help us meet the individual needs of each and every student.

We are a project based learning school which allows students to take an active approach to their learning. It is a challenge to provide all the materials the classes need to complete the projects to their best ability.

We have many projects planned for this school year and your donation will be greatly appreciated. Your donation will make a difference in the lives of many deserving children. Thank you in advance.

My Project

Much of this project is resources to teach with. A math intervention program will be used with our struggling mathematicians to build their foundational skills. The Reading and Writing Strategies books will help teachers have a toolkit of strategies to help students become life-long readers and writers. Other resources are units to support teaching informational writing as well as content readings and lesson to teach our units of space, inuits and the rainforest.

Other materials are essential to our classroom functioning.

Materials like sharpies, mounting tape, publishing and drafting paper, and binders are all needed. We are also asking for 10 headphones as we try to integrate technology as much as possible! Please consider donating to our classroom!
