This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for a TPT gift card to help my students with the new district wide reading curriculum. As a Title 1-funded school we have students with low socioeconomic backgrounds and with many children in my class having IEPs who cannot read and write on grade level, this gift card can help. I can purchase a differentiated reading bundle that will support these students in their desire to improve their reading levels and learn skills that are needed on their own personal academic level that follows the curriculum.
I am in an integrated co teaching classroom and we have many students with disabilities who learn in unique ways.
These students also have language barriers and don't have the support of family at home to help them with lessons/ homework. By being able to differentiate lessons on their level with supplemental resources I will be better able to teach my lessons and able for the students to grasp the concepts. They all strive to be their best and want to give them the tools and confidence to do that.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
