Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I picked out for my classroom would directly benefit my students with special needs. Planning and teaching students with special needs requires a lot of color coding, differentiation, engagement tools, and resources.

These requested resources will provide ways to teach organization and strategies such as color coding.

Items like the Frixion pens will allow my students the ability to make mistakes in their learning. These pens provide a pop of color, while also allowing students to erase and re-work problems with comfort and less stress. The paper cutter, cardstock, and marker/paint pens will be organized in the requested special containers and will be used every day by students for their assignments. The fidgets and sensory rings will be used as incentives.

My students hold a special place in my heart. They are hardworking and learn through trial and error.
