Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting these items for our family resource center at our school in South Phoenix. Every day we get students and parents who need everyday items such as a sweater, toothbrushes, shoes, a clean uniform, and other necessities.
Many of our students are low-income and our job is to try to provide the best resources possible at our Parent and Family Resource Center at our school.
The wagon in our cart will come in handy because we receive food items from St. Mary's food bank, Christmas Gifts, and other donations, and having a small wagon will help us transport things around our campus. We also requested detergent as our school also provides assistance to wash our student's uniforms if they do not have access to a washer/dryer.
