This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year, I am teaching kindergarten and first grade. I am a veteran kindergarten teacher, which means I have a lot of teaching resources to meet the individual needs of my kindergarten students. However, I am new to teaching first grade this year. I do not have a wide range of math and decodable printables to meet the needs of my first graders.

This TpT gift card would allow me the opportunity to purchase math and language arts resources that would meet the academic needs of my first graders.

My students love to read. I would be able to purchase decodable readers to give to each of my students to read in class with me, then take them home to read with their families. For math, I would be able to purchase math centers to use during our math time.
