My Students
I teach 4th Grade math, science, and social studies at a Title I school in Mesquite ISD. My 41 students are a unique group of students with each one being an energetic student that is ready to learn. Each day is a new experience for all of us as we each grow as learners.
I never have to doubt that my students will find a way to put a smile on my face each and make me laugh each and every day.
My goal is to do the same for them and to motivate them to return each day eager to learn something new.
I am constantly trying to think of ways to challenge myself in a way to keep my students wanting to learn more about learning and themselves. The majority of my students thrive in situations where they can have hands-on and visual experiences in class. To benefit my students the most, I look for opportunities to present learning to them in those ways as well as auditory. I never get tired of the joy on my kids' faces when they are excited to learn something new. Learning each day should put a bright smile on their face.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers is full of wonderful resources made by other teachers to help teachers with ideas and not having to reinvent the wheel. During this hectic time of digital learning, there have been so many new resources added to TPT that are geared towards online learning. I will use these TPT gift cards to purchase digital resources that will align to my lessons, and encourage my students’ engagement and participation. I love having the opportunity to learn from other teachers and share in their brilliant resources when I use products off of TPT.
