My Project
I teach various ages and grade levels in a resource classroom. Almost all of my students have various sensory needs, and we are always needing new tools. Having a trampoline in my classroom would allow for more intensive movement breaks for students. This would allow them to put out more energy and then be able to come back and focus on a task.
My students asked for sensory mats all of last year.
Giving them these would allow them to choose what feels best to occupy their hands and bodies so that their brains can focus.
Various timers and fidgets are always a need, and we go through them rather quickly! I want to introduce the wrist timers so that they can manage their own time and breaks.
