Resource Room Stations

My students need two bean bag chairs, a rocker, four sets of earmuffs, two dry erase rolls, a story cube, a set of mailboxes, a variety of games, and more to set up skill stations in the resource room.

My Students

I grew so much as a first year teacher and really developed a great rapport with many of the SPED students. I have prepared myself so much for my second year. These items will tremendously help my students develop academic skills in a resource room where it is interactive, Multi-sensory, and fun!

My students share similarities in cultural background but not in literacy skill level.

They have a great classroom culture where they all feel comfortable and safe. The school fosters a great supportive relationship and lacks the financial resources to accommodate the kinesthetic learning approaches. My students learn best by moving, touching, and experiencing their objective,

My Project

I envision these resources in my classroom in stations where students rotate daily to help improve their academic skills. Motivation will say high as the stations are fun, comfortable, and interactive. One example of the stations is the reading station where students sit on beanbag/rocking chair and wear earmuffs to fully concentrate on their high interest reading books.

Your donations will improve my classroom by providing the students with a change of pace learning environment.

They will come to the resource room excited, motivated, and eager to learn and experience new strategies!
