Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students who come into resource room do a lot of reading and spelling practice. Making their spelling folders by hand in order to give the modification needed to already accessible materials is sometimes needed for most of them. Using sturdy plastic folders and laminated letter tiles will give our tools longer shelf life and use.

I included a colored printer so we can have access to colored pictures we need for vocabulary instruction and other print materials.

Since most of my students are ELLs, vocabulary instruction and sentence building is a must for speaking writing practice.
