This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is designing a brand new room... the school resource cafe room where all teachers and scholars will have materials at their fingertips. We are hoping to add in a few of these high top tables and stools to give it a "cafe" feeling when you walk in. We hope this space is full of social emotional learning, small group instruction and teachers learning from other teachers. Our goal is to find a common room for students to learn, learn, learn and to help foster a love for learning.
This space will be used on a daily basis to learn new ideas from one another for literature and math.
Students will meet with teachers in small groups around the tables.
