Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When my students use board games and cards during our counseling sessions they are having fun and learning coping skills at the same time. This is a great engaging way for them to better themselves. Students love using cards to do mindful exercises.
My goal is for all my students to recognize their bodies and know when they are getting upset or anxious.
This way they can use the appropriate coping skills to prevent any negative behaviors in school and at home.
All kids are special and just need a bit of guidance to become the best version of themselves.
