Resetting Our Classroom

My Project

When my students return to first grade in August, I will be on maternity leave. Due to school regulations, I am not able to set up anything in advance. Together with my long-term sub and my classroom assistant, we’ve made a game plan for the classroom will look like once I am on leave.

I want all my students to know that this is our space, even with a little bit of uncertainty coming their way in the beginning of the school year.

We are resetting all of the bulletin boards and adding lots of color and new backgrounds.

This will allow my students to come in to a classroom that is fun, inviting, and full of color. I want my students to feel welcome even in my absence.
