My Project

Second graders are innovative, thoughtful, and inspired little learners. At this age, they love to be hands-on for learning and experience all kinds of new things. Anytime I can get new tools and materials in their hands, their excitement and engagement grows!

I am asking for a variety of items such as metal sheet pans, fidget stones, and clipboards to replenish some of most used classroom materials.

With all of the project based learning we complete, we need additional supplies to make it through the rest of the year. Metal sheet pans will help support students in learning with kinetic sand and letter magnets when they practice phonics, spelling, and sight words. Dry erase clipboards will pull double duty as excellent writing companions for working around the room and provide an ability to interact in the moment with students when surveying for understanding. Fidget stones will help those students who need emotional regulation and will support keeping little hands busy while their minds are at work!

These materials, while particular in nature, all contribute to helping our classroom run smoothly and seamlessly. It would greatly enhance our classroom environment, learning, and provide us with materials we can rely on for a some time! Thank you for considering our project!
