My Project
Creating a Reset and Reflect Corner in our classroom gives students a safe, supportive space to manage big emotions, take a break when they feel overwhelmed, and return to learning with a clear mind.
The rug, the sensory wall, the comfy chair, calming devices and books about emotions in the calming corner, plays a role in teaching my students how to care for their mental and emotional well-being—a skill that will support them far beyond our classroom.
