My Students

I have a great group of kids who love to learn and are very active. They love to be involved in all lessons and activities and not sit around. I have students who love history, and science. My students are very active so they need to move around and are very creative so it is a day to day challenge to keep this very active, talkative, and lovable bunch of kids busy and learning at the same time. I have a good mix ethnic wise.

They are all at different levels, and I have a couple that are low at reading, but all need help in increasing their fluency and comprehension along with their math skills.

They are a good group of kids, very smart but just need to right materials and manipulatives to help them learn and grow.

My Project

Having these Amazon Fire Tablets in the classrooms will help in that we won't have to be on a list with the whole school for the computer cart, which we would only be able to get every few weeks. Then when there is testing going on, we will not be able to access the computer cart at all. With these Amazon Fire Tablets in the classroom we will not have to rely on the computer cart. Students will be able to take turns in working on their research projects. The other reason for these Amazon Fire Tablets in the classroom is so there is ready access for students to take their Accelerated Reading tests, as we are working really hard to increase their reading level and comprehension for the "Read by 3."
