Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are learning the foundational skills needed for number sense and literacy. The items I am requesting are research-based manipulatives to help them practice number sense and literacy skills. The activities will also help my students practice their fine motor skills. The mirrors will provide a way for them to see their mouths as they say phonemes (sounds in words) and letter sounds.

My goals for this project are to encourage each student to keep practicing important skills and to have fun ways of learning and collaborating with each other.

The triangular mechanical pencils will be wonderful tools to help them practice writing and help strengthen their fine motor skills.
