This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Literature is a bridge that introduces us to the world. The opportunity of a class library that showcases the beautifully diverse world of people and cultures fosters a sense of belonging, recognition, and validation. These art supplies will help us celebrate their differences, capture their individuality, build self-esteem, and promote acceptance.
We are creating a community that welcomes everyone and celebrates our unique contributions.
Multicultural books and crayons in the classroom are essential in building a classroom centered around love, representation, and healthy relationships. It is a key component in supporting students and their awareness of themselves and those around them. These materials will allow us to create beautiful representations of ourselves, our families, and friends.
