Help me give my students books for our classroom library that represent our students.

My Project
My students are little sponges soaking up all that they can, and I want to provide them with the opportunity to go beyond the resources that we have. Our classroom library as well as our school library are limited on the amount of books that represent our student body. I wanted to make some changes by adding some amazing titles that represent our student body to our classroom library. We are a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free lunches. Our school is located in the rural Mississippi Delta.
The items that we are requesting from this project are books to enrich our classroom reading library.
These book selections were specifically selected so that students can see a representation of themselves in the books that they read. With so many requirements mandated by the local district and state, sometimes we just want to take a break and read for enjoyment.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
