Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is made up of diverse students and our library, unfortunately, is not. To increase student engagement and excitement we are looking to diversify our school library. We want our materials to reflect our student population and the world around them.
Expanding our collection will increase student literacy skills.
These materials have been recommended as some of the best books released in 2022. They represent a wide variety of characters to better represent our student population. With these books we hope to increase check outs with all of our students!
