My Project
I have a wonderfully diverse class with students who speak 5 different languages and were born in many countries. This year, I am being conscious of how all of my students' identities are represented in the classroom.
I am ensuring that each student's identities are represented and affirmed in my classroom by offering multicultural colored pencils and markers for art, dolls with different colored skin tones, and books that celebrate many different cultures.
These materials are a physical reminder that we all matter, we all belong, and we are all celebrated.
