My Project
In the house area of our classroom, my preschoolers could use new baby dolls that are reflective of themselves and their families. I plan to place the baby dolls in the house area so that the children can further enjoy the dramatic play items using the dolls. I want students to be able to incorporate the dolls into their everyday play. My goals include seeing the children use the dolls on grocery market trips, restaurant outings, and other daily life events that they choose to mimic while in the classroom.
I teach wonderful children that deserve to see and use dolls that look like themselves.
My students are special because this type of play with dolls helps them to develop social emotional skills, language skills, math skills, and empathy.
These dolls will be a wonderful addition to the house area in our classroom.
