This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our kindergarten dual-language classroom, we celebrate who we are our cultures, our languages, and our unique learning journeys. Every day, we work to make sure all students feel seen, valued, and empowered. To support our lessons on racial justice, inclusion, and representation, we create and use a wide range of hands-on, visual materials storybooks, cultural celebrations, identity activities, and vocabulary cards in both English and Spanish. To bring these resources to life, we’re asking for: bright and pastel printing paper to make materials that reflect the joy and vibrance of our diverse classroom. Copy paper for printing bilingual stories, family communication, and culturally relevant curriculum materials. Laminating sheets so we can reuse identity charts, social-emotional learning visuals, and equity-focused classroom tools again and again. These basic materials help us build a classroom where every child feels proud of who they are and excited about learning. With your support, we can continue creating an environment that celebrates diversity and builds understanding from day one.
