My Project

Over the past few years of teaching 7th grade World History, I have noticed that something as simple as a pencil or notebook can shape a student’s confidence and engagement in class. Many of my students come to school without basic supplies, and over the years, I’ve provided what I could out of my own pocket. But after several years and hundreds of students, my classroom supply stash has run dry. This project will help replenish items we use consistently in my classroom, like markers, highlighters, glue, and correction tape. These tools may seem small, but they have a big impact on our daily learning.

With your help, I can ensure every student walks into class with the tools they need to succeed.

Having access to basic materials supports independence, builds responsibility, and keeps students focused on learning rather than worrying about what they’re missing. These supplies are the foundation for everything we do, from taking notes and organizing their thinking, to participating in collaborative activities. My goal is to create a classroom environment where all students feel prepared and supported, every single day.

My students are curious, energetic, and full of potential. Many of them are navigating challenges outside the classroom that most adults would find difficult, yet they show up ready to learn and grow. They deserve a classroom that meets their needs, no matter their circumstances. Your support helps make that possible!
