Help me give my students soil to replant our learning garden and clipboards to use when we are taking notes and making observations.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 21st-century learners who are eager to use all of the technology available to them. I teach 26, curious, fourth-grade scientists in a small, Title I-funded school that has an amazing and supportive principal.
My students are eager to learn and their brains are sponges that absorb any and all information given to them.
Everything is a potential investigation or experiment to them, so I strive to provide my students with as many learning and project-based opportunities as possible. I constantly enhance the school curriculum and students' intrinsic motivation to learn more by infusing STEM correlations whenever possible.
Because of our small school size, funding levels are not as high as other schools in our area. Grants and projects like this one become an integral part of how I obtain resources to supplement learning experiences. I truly believe that the future lies in our children. They have virtually unlimited potential, and my job is to enable them to reach it.
My Project
After being online for almost two years it is wonderful to be back in the classroom. My students are enjoying being with each other in person and working together on projects.
Our learning garden is by far the classroom favorite!
As part of our science unit on ecosystems, environments, and living things, my students planted various seeds in the garden space right outside of our classroom. As we head into the winter break, we are aware that when we return we will have to replant and refresh the learning space. We will use the soil requested in this project to replenish the garden plots and plant more vegetable and flower seeds. The clipboards will be used to help them keep data sheets and science notebooks in place when they are making daily/weekly observations. Thank you for helping us keep our learning garden be a space that my students and the entire school community can continue to learn from and enjoy.
