My Project
Sometimes, library books get lost. I've always felt strongly that, at least when it comes to the school library, sometimes when goes missing, it's because that book was needed more somewhere else. I still feel that way. Still, it's hard when I've thought of the perfect book to recommend to a student, only to see that all the copies we own have been marked lost.
This project will provide students with new copies of these popular books, so they can read the same books other have loved.
No student should be excited to read a book in our catalog, only to be disappointed when they learn all the copies of that book are lost. Replacing these lost titles also allows us to forgive lost book fines for our students, which is always helpful to students and their families.
