My Students

With technology evolving daily, I have found I use the Internet to find teaching resources. There are vivid and colorful images, lessons, and resources that can be printed from the computer. We have colored ink but our black ink has run out. We cannot print without the black ink.

I teach 19 second/third grade students.

We live in rural, Northern California. We are housed in a one school district with less than 500 students at our school. We live among the timber, cattle ranches, and logging companies. My students are enthusiastic, energetic and love new an innovative ways to learn.

My Project

My students need two black replacement HP ink cartridges. These ink cartridges will be used to print pages from the Internet that will supplement my lessons. Most of my resources come from the computer via the Internet or from my scanned lessons. By having replacement ink for our printer, I will be able to print the pages so they look authentic, colorful and engaging. My students will benefit since 2nd and 3rd graders need realistic and colorful materials to help them learn. It will keep them interested and engaged in our lesson so they can continue to learn and grown.

The missing black ink is not allowing us to print even though we have the colored ink.

The black ink will allow my class to continue to print lesson, worksheets, and activities. Our lessons will continue be vibrant. Posters, labels, charts will come to life in color. My students will be surrounded by a colorful environment which will impact their learning in a positive way. Please help get us back to printing again.
