My Project
My passion is reading, and I am so glad I get to share that with my students. I love when students come into the library and find that just-right book or a student gets hooked on a new series. Even during COVID and distance learning, reading kept that connection with my students. I love to bring joy, adventure, and laughter to students through books.
I am in awe of the love of reading our students have, they have a passion for books. As a librarian, I want to provide the best books for our students. I like to have all the books in a series or newly released books for our students. During COVID, when we left school abruptly, many of our books were lost and never made it back to our library. We are not able to replace all the books at once due to the cost, but we are planning to use the next couple of years to replace them, funding this project will help us reach our goal faster.
