This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of crayons is a daily activity in my art classroom. Using color theory in the art class is very important because students come to class and practice a variety of color schemes within their artworks. The variety of crayon colors this project provides, allows me to see what colors they want to use to reflect their feelings and express themselves. What becomes a problem is the fact that the crayons never seem to last. Also, they break very easily and get used up quickly with 650 children in my class each week.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their artistic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the artwork and materials and not on whether their materials are going to be too small to hold or are missing. Plus, in art class, we learn to think outside of the box and problem solve.
