This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year about one-third of our students move into or out of our school. My goal as their librarian is to give all our students the constant, at-your-fingertips access to books that has proven to create lifelong readers.
I never fine a student for a lost or damaged book- and a student is never barred from reading library books just because one is lost.
We do cultivate responsibility at our school, but it's always secondary to the love of reading and learning.
