My Students
These students are at-risk, rural, limited access, culturally diverse, low social economic, high qualifications from free or reduced. We are the 5th choice for most families in the area thus lack strong families with great networking.
Climate and endangered species, and astronomy capital of the world.
Close nit, engaging outdoors learners, culturally aware of a strong land connection, many wish to stay and bring more to our small community of Honokaa, Hawaii.
We include Hawaiian culture and hope to understand and share the Aloha spirit.
My Project
Currently, most of the chairs in our classroom are broken and potentially unsafe. Many students play musical chairs trying to get the better ones before someone else does.
Please help supply our classroom with chairs that can handle all types of students and a piece of mind that nothing of theirs will get caught on the cracks and pieces exposed.
I am the newest teacher to join this school and was left with most of the broken chairs. If you care to also help with updating our broken tables I will also produce a profile for them.
