This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hi, my name is Nicole and I teach in a second grade ICT setting. I currently work in a Title I school and many of my students' families are below the poverty line. My classroom is made up predominately of students with disabilities and ENL learners. My students love to learn and are very excited to come to school each day.
In my classroom, my students have started school again remotely Some of my students do not have devices to log into our online lessons or complete their classwork!
They enjoy logging on to our remote classroom to see their friends and learn new material. In our class, we try to make learning an exciting journey through different types of instruction especially in this difficult time.
My Project
By getting these devices the students will be able to access online learning while they are at home. Many students are missing out on important instructional lessons because they cannot afford a device. These devices will help students to get the learning that they need and deserve. Having these devices will give students the opportunity to access different lessons, complete assignments, meet with teachers and friends, and take part in virtual learning for different specials. Please help my students get the best education possible by providing them with tablets to learn online!
