This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Diverse, hard-working, friendly, and well-behaved are just a few of the words to describe the students at my school. Overcoming the challenges that tend to come with living in an inner city does not come easy to many groups of children. Throughout the years, however, the students at this school have achieved great things (both academically and socially) time and time again.
I cannot imagine working with a more well-rounded and talented group of students.
These students always set high goals for themselves, and more often than not, they reach those lofty goals!
My Project
Interactive whiteboard lessons are a staple of my classroom. Nearly every lesson for all subjects that I have created over the years has used interactive whiteboard software. The interactive software programs allow me and students to write on and manipulate each slide as we progress through the lesson. Since we will be in a remote setting for some, if not all of the year, I will not have the ability to use the interactive whiteboard software without the use of this tech tool.
With this touchscreen laptop I will be able to replicate the in-class learning experience while teaching remotely.
By sharing my screen and using this laptop as if it were an interactive whiteboard, my students will have full access to all of my lessons in all subjects.
